I had no follow up after my stay in hospital so I had to go to the surgery doctor they told me that I was going to be referred to have an ultrasound, which I have been waiting for ages, until I had a letter to attend Upton Park hospital which I did this lovely nurse saw and she was very helpful I ask her why I has taken so long so i can have to ultrasound, she told me that my files got lost and that's why I had the appointment in Upton Park this week , so I am still waiting to have an ultrasound to see if the fluid has come back around my heart and lungs I am very worried about this in case it has , Mr [name removed]

Absolutely 10/10! I went to receive a birth control implant, i was greeted kindly and with no judgement from all members of staff. The was no long waits- i was seen to almost instantly! I came to my appointment alone and was very nervous, especially as i have bad experience passing out with medical procedures, but they took care with me and reassured me whilst also educating me further on what was being done. I was offered STI testing, and she had no issues when i refused to have my blood drawn and only felt comfortable with a swab, she made it clear that i was in full control of my care! The implant procedure was easy and almost painless, she took time and care when i said that i didn’t feel like my arm was numb yet, listening to my responses and changing her care appropriately. I feel fully trusting in the care and treatment i received, especially in doing something that could have felt quite intrusive! Thank you!

I did not feel that there was any issues with my care! However, i had to wait a month to be seen, a sooner appointment would have been of more use to me.
